Hi! My name is Carey. I'm a Computer Engineering sophomore at
JHU, fortunate to be mentored by Prof. Homanga Bharadhwaj in the
B3 lab. My research and engineering interests span the full robotics stack: embedded systems, control, and, most recently, embodied intelligence. My current research focuses on the fundamental question of how we can extract force and physics knowledge scalably from cheap and accessible interaction videos. A tangential research question is how to design models and representations that capture this knowledge for downstream robotic tasks.
I've interned at
Amazon Robotics, working on software infrastructure for human-robot packing systems deployed worldwide. I also had a great time researching at
JHU IMERSE.
